Desert Bus for Hope 2 Fundraiser for PAX’s Child’s Play Charity

Felicia and Sandeep met the guys from LoadingReadyRun.com at PAX this year who are once again taking up their controllers and playing the ultra-boring game ‘Desert Bus’ for Penny-Arcade’s Child’s Play charity. Last year they raised $22,805 over five days, and they hope to beat that record this year. The event started on November 28^th, and will likely run well into this week. Felicia will be calling in on Monday between 5 and 6 p.m. to chat with LoadingReadyRun, and to do a live Q/A session with viewers of the event. Head on over to desertbus.org and check it out!

Official Guild Tees Now Available!

We’re very excited to announce that Jinx Tees is now the provider of the official Guild Tee! The quality of the shirt will be much better than the print-on-demand we’ve been providing before, and they will be providing DVD fulfillment to us as well, saving Felicia and Kim from packaging DVDs on the floor of the kitchen as they have been the last few months! Maybe they won’t get lost as much either! :)

We hope you enjoy this new offering, and we will be adding new designs as the season is launched on November 25th.

And if you purchase a Tee, please submit a picture of yourself in it to make our new Jinx store look fancy! Look for more exciting updates on the show in the coming weeks, there are some doozies down the road!

We had a great time at Blizzcon, did some fantastic interviews, thanks so much to every fan who stopped by and said hi! We previewed the first episode of Season 2, a rough cut, and the response was FANTASTIC!

The Guild at Blizzcon!!

The whole cast of The Guild will be attending Blizzcon Friday and Saturday! There will be a Guild panel from 1:30 - 2:30pm on Saturday where we will preview Season 2 as well as answer questions about Season 1 and anything else the audience would like to hear!

Also, thanks to the kindness of Blizzard, we will have a booth set up where we will be selling DVDs and an Official Cast Photo, debuting at the con! All 6 main cast members will be hanging out, but will be specifically signing DVDs and Photos at the following times in the booth:
Friday 11am-1pm
Saturday 3-5pm

Bunch Casseday = The Best!

We are so privileged to be helped out this season by Bunch Casseday, uber rental house out of Los Angeles. Without them, Guild Season 2 would be limping along, instead we are able to shoot in wonderful HD with kick ass equipment! We’re so excited to be able to upgrade the show, and it’s all thanks to them. We are so appreciative.

They are actually web series auteurs themselves, and have a hilarious show called Casanovas that is “…a weekly comedy web series chronicling the misadventures of two extremely eligible bachelors as they stumble their way through the world of women. Look out ladies… Seriously… this isn’t going to be pretty.” It’s very funny, definitely check it out! Thanks again Bunch Casseday! The Guild salutes you!

English Subtitles on our YouTube Videos!

We want to give a huge shout out thank you to Volunteer English Subtitler: Daniela Figueiredo, one of the true champions of The Guild. She has created subtitles for all the original Guild videos, and, thanks to a new feature on YouTube, we’ve added them to our original videos!
Now you can go to The Guild YouTube channel (Please subscribe if you haven’t already) and on the bottom right of the video there is an up arrow where you can click on “CC”, or Closed Captions. We have other languages we are preparing to add to those videos, thanks to YouTube’s new captions feature you can have more than one language choice, but having English available for everyone has been requested many times, and Dani has made it possible.
