What extras on DVDs do you guys enjoy? Post here! We're looking towards our season 1 release and want to pack it with lots of goodies for your enjoyment!

It’s good enough for the blind.

Let's see…

Outtakes/Boopers (ALWAYS good)

Behind the Scenes/The Filming of

Actor Interviews (The content could be things like future plans, or feelings about The Guild, inspiration, fun experiences, etc…)

Episode Commentary

These are pretty general, and maybe a couple could be combined, but I always like watching

them no matter what the film is! (And since it's The Guild this time…well…AMAZING!)

Anyway, those are my two cents. Hope they help! Tongue out

I did forget one thing….Deleted Scenes. Are there any? If so, you should add 'em!

Extra DVD-only content…

For example:

Character-centric episodes revealing more about them (things that could probably be sprinkled into Season 2 so DVD owners get a chuckle)

Possibly an episode that can prelude or set up Season 2 (or a trailer) - especially if new characters will be introduced.

Both of these could also be sort of combined.

A music video, those are always fun.

Make up fake movie trailers with The Guild Characters in character.

I'll stop here… lol

There’s a method to my madness… its getMadness();

Brilliant, Edgar! I really like the not-so-run-of-the-mill ideas, especially the one of DVD-only. I second.

I'd like to see some card tricks from Vincent, could always add that to the DVD. I've always liked watching that kind of stuff.

I may be a johnny come lately to this but, commentaries I love. And, as I've mentioned elsewhere, the opportunity to view the scripts (even early drafts different from the final show) would be of interest.

How about an alternate ending, like Zaboo's Mom wipes the guild? Sorry, that's too depressing. NVM.

I think just anything about the actors as far as commentaries would be good. They could explain how they got involved with the project, background, etc. Though I can see some risk of that appearing a little bit self indulgent, like “look at me I'm so great” kind of thing. Like so sugary it makes you gag, but if the fans appreciate it then it's all good. I guess it depends on how it's done. Perhaps have an independent interviewer that can direct and capture the actor's and crew's thoughts in a way that comes off well, and even have it apparent that it is an independent interviewer. Also, how about a “making of” section where it explains the locations, like what restaurant was Cheesybeards shot at? Was the alley scenes the same alley as that restaurant? And how were the special effects done in episode 10, however unimpressive that turns out to be - LOL. Although not knowing how they were actually done - I'm currently impressed. Just keep in mind that if features like cast and crew interviews go beyond your expertise, you'll prolly want to get some outside help or keep it in the comedy vein.

PS. Me do math good.

I only believe in paradoxes on the weekends unless it’s Monday.
