Well, this is not really a suggestion, it's more like a request for permission…
I saw that some fans are making a subtitle version in… in… I don't know what language is that… polish? russian??…
Anyway…
I was thinking of making portuguese subtitles (I'm from Brazil) 'cause
I know a lot of people who would like to see this, but they can't
understand english. I'm thinking of it for quite a while, but now I
really have the time to do it [when I first started to watch The Guild
I was living in Ireland and had no pc there... I watched The Guild on a
internet café...] I just need to get someone to help me, 'cause some
words and phrases are a little fuzzy for me sometimes [ 'cause I do
know a lot of gamers, and have some familiarity with the gamers-world,
but I'm not a gamer myself - but I think that should be easy... and I'm already recruiting some people ]
I just need to know if you guys would be interested in it. If I could do it. And how does
that work? I'd sent the subtitles to you guys and you'd put it on the
video? …

So, episodes one and two are ready… I just sent a youtube message, but here it goes again.

So, the subtitles for episodes 1 and 2 and ready.
Already corrected (I had 2 people to help me) and synchronized (for 29,976 fps).
So, you gonna put it on a video and upload? Or should I do it? How are
the polish (it's polish, right?) versions are being uploaded? There's a
way to download from youtube… and I could do it and upload the videos, but I need to know if you give me permission to do so.

There is currently a thread over at Doctor Horrible Net about whether any DVD/ Internet release of Doctor Horrible wil have subtitles:

I thought that perhaps Joss would be aware of the need for subtitles, but is there any way to know before it's released?

Hi! I know that the Horrible crew were talking about subtitling and captioning, but as I am not involved in the day to day activities there, I can't confirm nor deny anything :) I know some of the extras that are in the works will DEFINITELY make buying the DVD imperative!
As for the Guild DVD, we are finding it's very expensive to have the captions put in and subtitling added, so we are doing our best but we may or may not be able to include it in this self-funded pass for the DVD. Rest assured we are turning over every rock to find an affordable option!

I just wanted to say that for not english watchers, it´s difficult to understand every joke on the series.
I watched some of the episodes and had really fun (I´ve been a Guildmaster of wow for more than 3 years, and know tons of things like those ^^!), but at the time to show my friends this nice chapters, they don´t understand them (not me at 100%).
just wanted to know if the DvD will have english subtitles, if yes or I u have them to give, I would gladly translate them to spanish. Just the phrases are needed, not the subtitle-format.
btw: Nice duet with Neil Patrick Harris, that sing-along blog, just roolz.

Well, I feel like an idiot, have just seen the DvD is now available with english subtitles…
I´m going to make my preorder in a few days, sorry codex, hope u will have not to send them to everybody manually, as u said on your blog ^^!.
