I know this is completely off-topic but…is anyone here like a fruit connoisseur or anything?
I tried this fruit at work and have no idea what kind it was but it was delicious. I was told it was papaya but I just bought one today and it wasn't that…
The fruit was red, with kinda yellow 'veins' runnin through. Looked like a watermelon almost. It was extremely sweet and rather soft..don't you hate it when you can't figure something out?

Plum? Guava? Maybe still papaya?
Any other descriptions? Skin? Mushy soft? Smell? Seed(s)?

Lol, idk much else, it was served at my work as a mixed fruit cup deal. But I can't just go up to my bosses and say “Well I just tried a papaya and it tasted nothing like what you served” cuz..if you really wanna get technical..I stole one of the cups of fruit >.>;;
