I think he means he wants Ms. Day to upload a video of the improv they did. Or maybe just wants attention.. =D

My goal is not to simply get attention…in a way. I was pretty much asking any of the guild for a video upload of their next improv night, for the people who wouldn't be able to go (just like the last improv night). But I was reading the DVD thread, and someone had a great idea to put the improv shows ON the DVD, as opposed to the site. I'd be up for that, I think.

I didn't get the message about the BEING HUMANS Improv thing until just now. I live in the 90024 area code (Westwood) and needless to say: I know what I'm doing next Friday night around 10:30pm. WOO!

Excellent! We had 5 Guildies there last night, and it was great to have them there! Looking forward to seeing you!

I saw Being Humans (and Vodka & Donuts, another troupe who performed as well) and I give it 2 thumbs-up. I talked to Jeff and Felicia afterwords which was AWESOME (sorry Felicia, still a little starstruck by the whole event). Anyway, if you're in the area (or even if you're not) I highly reccomend seeing it this coming week; it really was a good show (1 word: Ostrich)! If I can get my friends to come I'll be there again next Friday. Maybe afterwards we can put together a fans-of-the-guild dinner (though it got out pretty late last week) or maybe just coffee or hit a bar if we're all of age? Just a thought.

Are any Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park natives going to the BH show on the 16th? If so, would you mind picking up a fellow Guild-Watcher? If gas is an issue, I will gladly help in that area.

I'd love to go but Vancouver is a bit far from LA (so I've been told!). If you go and you're allowed to take some photos, can you post them here or on the new Flickr site? That way those of us not within reach of LA can see what we missed.
And then, if you also wanted to write a review I'm sure there's lots of people would love to read it…

Sadly, I don't have a camera with me here. Also, I couldn't write my way out of a paper bag and wouldn't begin to know how to write a proper review, but here we go:
The entrance to the Westside Eclectic Theatre (http://www.westsideeclectic.com/) is located in the alley between 3rd and 4th street. It cost $10 last week, I imagine it will be the same this week, but don't quote me on that. It's a little smaller than I imagined, there were probably 30-40 seats last time but I suppose they could fit upwards of 65-70 if they had to squeeze. All I can say is it was good fun last Friday
Both
troupes that I saw perform (and the last like 5min of the show that was on previously) were great. I don't know what else to say about it. Oh, Felicia and Jeff were kind enough to chatwith myself and the other 2 Guild fans, after the show. I was stoked to meet them so I was a little starstruck the entire time, but they were super appreciative of us guildies that came. Ms. Day also said Sandeep (Zaboo) should have been there and that he might be here this coming week (again, don't quote me).
P.S. Jeff (Vork) makes a great Ostrich.

Thanks for the review, Charbroiled - any information gladly received! And getting to meet with Felicia and Jeff must have been a great experience - I'm not surprised you were star-struck!

That and it would take me almost two hours to get there because the highway scares the frak out of me.
Yes, that's right; I'm in my mid-twenties and can't drive the highway.
