Mmorpgs are awesome as long as u can control how long u play on it, being honest im play lots of rpgs myself but never had the problem with addiction. My academic life balances it out :P. (CABAL is good for stress-relief)

its easy to become addicted to these games, especially when you live 20 miles outta town and no wheels to go anywhere:P My new years resolution is to start playing less shadowbane. I find myself filling the hours by watch btvs. almost like giving up cigarettes for cigars lol

I’m Watching you….

Hey Codex, first off I love The Guild! Please keep making as many as you guys can. There are tons who absolutely love this kind of humor!

And I can understand your hesitation to get back into WoW. I’ve played off and on since release and, like yourself, I found at one point I was really playing a lot and it was affecting my life in a serious way. (What do you mean I don’t get phat loot for finishing a day of work??)

I’ve taken breaks from WoW on a number of occasions and I’ve always tended to come back cause I just find it to be an all around excellent game.

Now important to note!! Although the game is still pretty much about grinding to the max lvl, I must say that the "pressure" is nothing near to what it was a few years ago when everyone and their dog (the ones with opposable thumbs that is) were grinding as quick as they could to reach 60.

I’m having the best time ever since I started playing now that I’ve transferred to one of the best servers out there (Moon Guard). It’s an RP server and I’m finding that everyone is taking their playing really casually and just enjoying for what the game is. Plain and simple.

I’m an officer in a casual PVE guild and it’s been absolutely great! I’ve had no sense of (OMG I have to hit that next lvl) and I’ve been happy and relaxed to take my time and even take days off between my playtimes. Even managed to catch up on my TV watching (although Buffy is no longer on the air….sigh ;) shameless plug )

If you ever feel like dipping your feet into the WoW pool again, don’t hesitate to come to our server and enjoy the relaxed mood we have here. Give me a shout and I could even be your WoW personal trainer. If I see you online too much, I’ll give ya grief! XD

Keep up the great video work! And I hope to see more of The Guild in action!

Bah. Come to "The Scryers" and whisper me in game. I’ll get you into our guild. If nothing else, it’ll give you more ideas for the show.

To The Dragon: Enjoy your rest, until next the pattern has need of you. Tai’shar.

No fair trying to lure her back in to the empty void that is WoW… it is as Tinkerbella says. "I want it to give me a sensation of accomplishment in an imaginary world"

Instead of getting that sensation in a fictional world then we would all be better of getting that sensation from real life. (not that I don’t play WoW myself from time to time)

I hope to see much more work from Felicia Day in the future (partly because I have an immature crush on her… immature because all I know about her is what is on the internet)

May your future carreer be blessed with much work so all us fans can enjoy watching you.

And may your life be blessed with much happiness in return for the smiles and laughs that you have given us through "the guild"

i played this for 2.5 years, and decided to quit a few weeks ago. interacting in the game was taxing and i found that i wasn’t meeting some of my goals in real life.

a lot of people are addicted to mmo’s. after seeing how this consumed a coworker’s life, arguably at no entire fault of his own, i feel like i have a duty not to support games that are purposefully designed to spark an addiction.

ask for help if you need it. do something that you’ve continued to procrastinate about while mindlessly grinding week after week. free yourself from a digital drug.

now on the outside looking in i absolutely loved these episodes and have subscribed to the feed. excellent job on the webisodes. they are so hilarious, and the small group of friends who used to play this got a big kick out of it too. thanks :)

First off. I love this show….it just hightlights the madness that WoW is.

Funny…..i quit WoW today. Did the goodbye post on the guild website and now Im free. No more … you have to be there to DPS or tank…whichevers is the flavor for the night.

Well even though I dont play anymore….This show just rocks and will be waiting for the next episode.

Also, Felicia stated that one of her GM was frying bacon in the background. I remember one guy that said his kitchen was on fire and he had to be afk for a bit….LOL…he came back after 20mins and finished the rest of MC with us…

…oh the memories

This show is definately…FTW

For some reason I’ve never been bitten by the roll playing games, but I spend far too much time on first person shooters (starting with the original Doom, and currently wildly adicted to Team Fortress 2).

My teenaged son, on the other hand, plays several roll playing games including WOW.

Seems everyone that's asking Felicia to come back to WoW just wants her to join their server…hidden motives maybe?!? hehe

Ukulele no good…

I know that this doesn't really fill the void left by WoW, but a good fix to stop playing mmo's are just ordinary rpgs. They have an end and only are exciting the first couple of times and thought that is what we love about our mmorpgs (I played Evercrack for about a year) that they go on endlessly. It keeps you from relapsing.

Personallly my drug is heroin because you get the same satisfation from it as you would from WoW and you lose huge chunks of time too. Though if you choose this highly recommended method by hippies than you should remove all electronic equipment from the area for reasons that need not explaining
