In one of the episodes a reference was made to dextarity (sextartiy). I know that was an attribute in D2, but I have not seen it in WoW. Also TINKERBALLA is a ranger. What is a Ranger class? Sounds like something from LOTRO.

The Guild is about mainly MMO in general and not only WoW and not D2 since its not an MMO. It’s just reffering to all MMORPG games so many people can relate to it and not just the WoW players. So Im pretty sure they use dexterity in some kind of MMO game

A LOTRO ranger/rogue would be the "burglar", and dexterity would be "agility"… dunno ’bout other MMOs, but yeah, gaming references are intentionally generic in The Guild.

So it goes…

I don’t play WoW, but from other MMORPG’s i’ve played, a ranger is generally a character that uses ranged weapons, typically a bow, but can be other things like throwing knives, spears, etc. As for dexterity, like previously mentioned is a kind of agility. Usually very useful for rogues/thieves but also depending on the game, it can apply to skill with smaller weapons as opposed to brute force/strength 2 handed sword/hammer bashing etc.
