"I tried an alias on another game, but my kid picked it up and started calling me muminatrix. My husband got pissed."
Great episode. Sadly, i have a friend who i hang out with all the time, and occasionally we’ll hit a lull in conversation and have that awkward silence. Talk of wow immediately jumpstarts the conversation.

Hahahaha, I love Tink’s attitude. A shame Bladezz wasn’t in the episode, I have a feeling bad things will happen hehe. Still, great job on all the laughs! Keep it up, peeps!

I am know seriously creeped out by Zaboo.
I’ll bet the receptionist is a gamer too.

And now, farewell to kindness, humanity and gratitude… I have substituted myself for Providence in rewarding the good; may the God of vengeance now yield me His place to punish the wicked.

"DISMISSED!"
ROFL … hillarious stuff.
Keep up the good work.
On a side note,
I really did like Episode 4. Although I never had a negative experience in meeting guidlies in real life, I can see how each of the character’s class plays a role when they meet in real life.
Maybe Vork would be Codex’s "knight in shining armor" and save her from Zaboo. Maybe it’s Zaboo with the behavioral problems, not Bladezz.
IMO there is always a prologue to the next level, and this was a great transition into what we could expect in Episode 5.
Question: Why does the priest / cleric (i.e., Codex) always have to be the practical one? "I’ll go get us a table" HAHA…loved it.

haha…the receptionist is our production designer and my GF! She’s jewish and i’m hindu. when felicia wrote into the script that my character had a jewish last name it reminded me of my GF and i talking about how our kids would be little hinjews. and that’s where that line came from.

Zaboo: "the receptionist is our production designer and my GF!"
The Arg receptionist needs to show up more. A frustrated actor myself (who in h.s. & college often got the speech about "no small parts only small players"), I always appreciate seeing a talented person take ONE line and make it memorable. It’s not as easy as it looks. She should be a running gag in the series. She’s always working part time wherever they end up. No explanation. No doubletakes by the cast wondering "have we seen her before?" That’d be great. Just real deadpan.
Tink’s character is running a fine line of likeability, which considering this cast someone has to in order to develop tension, but even tho her guarded nature is a required character choice for setting up the humor of the group, I dunno how long the audience will tolerate OUR not being let in on who she is. Granted, the actress is objectively ‘hot’ which means many viewers will cut her a lot of slack. I hope she has a younger brother. Her chastising a younger brother in one moment and then being loving and protective of him the next would probably help with the likability factor.
Bladezz will probably make an appearance next ep. I’m betting he’s gonna be their waiter and the others don’t know it. He looks like the kinda guy who would fit right in at a restaurant with a pirate theme. Of course, maybe that’s too obvious and the writers will go somewhere else with it.
Again, Jeff Lewis kicked it out of the park during the awkward silence. He managed to make NOTHING entertaining by mumbling to himself incoherently. Was that in the script or improvised? It felt organic out of the scene. Just makes sense in a weird way. Granted, a lot of this may have to do with editing, but Lewis seems to have great comic timing, and trusts his instincts.
I wish it were possible for the series to explore more how these guys interact while online. I mean using Machinima in the virtual setting of a game like World of Warcraft, where you could cut from the live actors at their computers talking to one another, directly to animated scenes in the virtual reality of the game itself. Due to time constraints, copyright legalities, financial limitations and probably reasons I can’t fathom, this is impossible. However, a lot of potential humor is unavailable cuz you can’t afford to explore that. If you guys have ever seen Red Vs Blue, you’d know that showing us what the characters experience has massive humor potential. I don’t mean do JUST that. It’d be more like 90% what you got now and then 10% cutting to the Machinima, mostly for visual jokes, or to compare how well (or not) they interact in the virtual setting to how difficult a time they have face to face. I think if we could see them work well together in the game it would help the audience see why they’re so drawn to each other while simultaneously creeped out by one another.
I know. Armchair quarterback. Sue me. It’s fun! =)
