At the end of #8, Zaboo makes a reference to what I think is Kali but I can't understand/spell the word he uses before that.

It sounds like he says “Help me escape Turam Kali out there …” but I'm not certain. Anyone know exactly so I can google it and understand the joke/reference? :)

It's “Help me escape two-armed Kali out there and I'll show you.” Kali is an indian goddess of death and destruction and she normally is portrayed as having 4 arms (I believe?!?!)

We debated whether people would get that joke. I wanted to show off, but basically should have rewritten it, haha! Oh well, live and learn!

It's funny now though, right? right? :D

It’s good enough for the blind.

Yeah, I didn't get it when I first heard it, either. Now it's hilarious! Tongue out

Actually I got the idea that it was a Hindu religious reference and in my mind I equated it with a Hindu version of Cerberus :D It was funnier when I googled Kali but I thought I was missing something with the “Turam” thing. Obviously I did miss the fact that he said it so fast as for “two armed” to run together. It was still funny tho!

Nope, that would be Shakti (or a chess robot, or a record by veruca salt.)

Hinduism seems to be rather complicated, but a good rule of tumb is: Odd number
of body parts: probably indian god, except when Zaphod Beeblebrox.

I’m a unix hacker, ask me about curses!

Well actually there are different ways, in regular pictures she often has 4 arms or 8 arms. In Mahakali form she has 10 arms

I thought the “Help me Codex-wan” was hilarious. I'd guess that took a few takes to get through.

There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don’t.

I got it, thanks to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

To The Dragon: Enjoy your rest, until next the pattern has need of you. Tai’shar.
