Love love love the new season, every episode just knocks it out of the park, and this one’s no exception. All the characters are so well fleshed out, cast and played, and Wil Wheaton is absolutely perfect in the role. Only thing is, I want Tink back in the guild – I’ve missed her! Can’t wait for next ep!

I think it resembles more the old LAN FPS parties (usually in a community center or buddies basement lol) of the late 90′s than an internet cafe. Great episode.

nai, it’s the back room of an internet cafe.
so they have the wi-fi, and top notch computers (not relying on what the cafe has).
lol at LAN party though, i had not heard of them before, awesome stuff.

I would totally buy a box of Marshmallow Zaboos.

I finally feel like this show is back on track and it looks like they are winding up for a finale.

There were a few lines where Vork should have spoke soon/later when getting Zaboo back. When Zaboo said to call him Boo and Vork said NO! it was at the same time that Codex said “let’s go” or something and I think that kind of ruined the line.

Favorite episode this season though. I’m excited about the next one to see how it all plays out.

Wait…there was a great one last week. Episode 9, with Zaboo’s classic meltdown against Fabric Boy. It was even a couple of minutes longer! For some reason it doesn’t seem to be showing up on the main page here, though…

One of the coolest episode in the series so far; though I’d really wish that Tink was in the slo-mo scene…can’t have a classic and iconic scene without the entire gang

Love the witty one-liners and Zaboo’s confused lines when speaking to Clara. XD This episode made me laugh and I’m glad to see they’re finally going to have a show down. It’s been a long time coming.

DAAAAAAANNNNNNNGGGGG!!!! Hate the cliffhangers they have on hear, but still love the show. Maybe we’ll actually get to see the gameplay for once, if not, another day but it will still be good.

The face is that of dell dimensions line. I doubt you could have read the model number off the thing to know it’s specifically a 3000. Besides, could easily be customized. Like putting a Porche engine in an old Beetle (oh, it’s been done).

You know what would be awesome? What if future episodes involved the live-action characters in their Guild costumes running around a low-res landscape from their MMO? It’d be an interesting way to show the gameplay without showing any existing MMO, thus avoiding copyrights! All we need is a computer graphics modeler, some blue screen, and some wire stuff for flying around all silly like.

I Think it would be cool if someone could actually make an online mmo for the guild. maybe its already in the making. lol. just a future thought

After watching episodes 9 and 10 a few times I am amazed at Sandeep Parikh’s range as an actor. I know he’s got his directing projects, etc., but he is so focused, and the camera loves him.

I would love to see him do some more roles in the future.

LAN (Local Area Network) parties are old skool – it’s how people would get together to play multi-player games before online subscriptions to MMORPGs were common. Lugging along your own tower and monitor were also commonplace. ; )

It’s supposed to remind you of “Little Green Bag” which was in a scene in the movie Reservoir Dogs that pretty much all slow-mo tough-guy walking down the street shots are borrowed from. I don’t have the greatest ear, but it sounds off. I suspect for trademark reasons someone Garage Band-ed up a facsimile version.

LAN parties still exist – they’re called professional gaming competitions. By networking all the players locally in one space you eliminate lag and make the game experience fairer for everyone; the only factors determining the outcome are your skill and hardware supremacy.

Fawkes and the next closest person were setting up iMacs – true to life since Wil Wheaton is an acknowledged Mac user. Didn’t catch any others.

At the risk of repeating myself, LAN parties still exist in professional gaming competitions.

I would have thought that LAN parties were more common place than you all are making it seem. LAN parties still exist outside of the professional realm.

Not a lot of things can beat a good 12 hour gaming session surrounded by close friends. Although technically, half the games my friends and I play aren’t actually played over a LAN but that doesn’t keep us from coming together periodically.

look like macs to me not really the best computers to use for gaming as it is amost inposible to find a game that will run on them and is good but WoW works on them thats all that matters

I was the same way!!! I kept staring and thinking “Who is he? He looks sooooo familiar and I can almost guess who he sounds” Then he spoke and I recognized his voice. But I had to go to IMDB first and then I was like “OMG VORK!”

I was actually thinking the same thing. Mr. Wiggly practicing at night and stepping up to help Clara. Just have to wait to see…

George Baker, not Tom Jones. Tom Jones did a cover that sounds different. This is not the actual song, however, probably because they couldn’t afford get the rights on their minuscule budget, so they faked it to sound similar to Little Green Bag — this, of course, was to effect a parody of Reservoir Dogs. Worked well enough for me.

Umm… Where is episode 11? I see episode 10 was put up, but 11 isn’t there, and then goes straight to episode 12. o.O

Okay I am a total newbie to blogs and to The Guild. Watched the first episode by accident on netflix and LMAF now I am a total addict. I am not a gamer, but know enough and them even divorced them and have to say this show is still so funny. Have gotten so many people to watch it cause whether you are a gamer, know anything about WOW, Star Wars, etc. (basically any game where your real life takes second plac e to the computer), you either know someone like these charaters, are one of them, or just get to see how the other side really lives. Cause if Felicia had one thing right in this episode, no matter the game, mode of playing(PS3, Xbox, PC, etc.), or style of charater everyone who plays anything knows we play to be someone else, the person we wish we could be. So bravo in giving an enlightenment in a humorous manner, I had to learn the hard way these aren’t games they are escapes.
