        Actually, in this case spelling means a lot. Naming himself “Fawkes” says a lot about his interest in chaos. Mostly because of an American misunderstanding of the motives of the Gunpowder plotters. Most Americans assume Guido and his chums were anarchists, whereas they were in fact Papists; the antithesis of anarchists, really.
        It’ll be interesting to see what they do the week of Nov. 5, if the character hangs around that long.

        Well in this case one is a reference to the phoenix from harry potter and the other a Nintendo star fighter so it makes a difference in that respect

          Actually, it’s a reference to Guy Fawkes, a 17th century English traitor, who is immortalized by some as a leader of rebellion against a tyrannical government. He is considered a hero by anarchists, even to this day. Good name for the leader of a guild of anarchists.

          Awww. It’s so cute that you think Guy Fawkes was against tyrannical government. He actually supported an even larger, all-consuming force (which, at the time, was tyrannical): The Catholic Church.

    Wow… The Guild is becoming a bit stale… It feels like I’m watching Dawsonn’s Creek or something. There are loose ends that need to be tied up. What’s going on with Zaboo and his mom? Will Zaboo ever “level up”? What of the relationship between bruiser, Bladez, and his mother? Who is Tink, why doesn’t she want anyone to know who she really is?
    How is Wiggly taking the news about Clara being pregnant again?
    Vork… he needs a girlfriend.. badly. Think about an episode in which Vork actually encounters a female that is actually interested in him. I’m sure everyone would love to see how Vork reacts to that.

      As for all of your arguments, I think that right now, they are just dealing with codex’s love life first (since she seems to be the main character). The other stories might come a bit later (hopefully)

        i wonder if they are planning a like mirror image guild to show up , like evil twins which are opposite everything to the knights of good, like the lords of evil…. with all evil ppl ..(xcept tink, who seems to be the evilest of the knights of good so her counter part could be good) ….AND THEN VORK CAN FALL IN LOVE WITH THAT GUILD LEADER…leading to the kings of neutrality guild…..yes score 1 for barath

      I agree, it’s getting stale. But the things you said need closure, i personally could care less about. I don’t want to see Vork with a GF though, thats to far out of character. He thinks of them as none productive and will take away from optimal efficiency.

      Right now the show seems to be, treading water. More or less just putting in filler either before a big event happens which will make it interesting again, or before the show dies completely.

      All the things you listed really have nothing to do with the main plot, i.e. “THE GUILD”. Zaboo and his mom, nice little side joke early on, dont care anymore. What does clara being pregnant really have to do with the guild? She doesnt give a crap about her first two kids, why would being pregnant change anything? Blade and bruiser, well bruiser is dating his mom, what more do you want?

        All these things you mention about the characters’ personal lives… they have everything to do with the “Guild”! It’s a series about the clashes these most peculiar characters experience between their real lives and their virtual identities. So everything that happens in their real lives will, one way or another, affect their in-game world and how they interact with it.

        Well do i like the guild yes. But im not feeling it like i did the first 1-3 seasons. I dont think id buy this years and last years barely.

        I think its just losing touch with gamers… i mean rewatch the first 1-2 seasons… i mean it felt like gamers/gaming i think people REALLY identified with the show.

        Now its more…i dunno a fake drama.

        I rewatched the first few seasons at least 2 times each and particular episodes more…

        The Christmas and halloween episodes were good… i even watched the first christmas episode just before christmas fit so WELL… i was playing WOW myself..so funny and fit! turns out weather caused my travel plans to be cancleded so I REALLY did play WOW on christmas eve .. i had turkey and quested with a random elf LOL. was so surreal i laughed.

        I also twittered along with Wil Wheaton as we watched 24 HOURS of a CHristmas story which i try to catch a few times while wrapping presents and such …

        BUT.. I COULDNT see watching THESE guild episodes and feeling like that….it doesnt feel well THE GUILD-sy

        i dunno what else to say – get back to what it was all about gaming/gamers/extreme problems… yes not fake drama trying to be a a movie.

      These are webisodes, theyre five mins long at most. You cant expect them to cram all that content in such a short duration. Web series have limitations tv series havent.

    Awesome, I just wish there could be more episodes in a season. The Guild is one of the few original shows online and 6mins an episode for 10 episodes a season is just teasing us! :) Oh well, we’ll take what we can get.

    Dude i love this show i wish they had more episodes in less time i know of shows on my illico box and they make 3 episodes a week
    but that’s ridiculous anyways just saying i wish they had like 1 every specific date or something like every Thursday. Anyways i don’t know if it is every specific date so I’m going to stop writing. Very good episode though

      Any chance that this show could make the leap from the internet to TV? Maybe us fans can start a petition to have this show picked up by a network to become a series? It would definitely be great to see a half hour show.

        That would be awesome but maybe having The Guild on a big network might change a lot of things in a bad way. I like it the way it is, 6 minutes every week =) just like Red vs Blue

    I actually found that Season 3 was quite dull and boring (compared to the people who really enjoyed Season 3). I am really enjoying this season so far and I can’t wait for more new episodes.

    My wife’s laptop crashed twice while I was watching the beginning of this episode (while the vid is going all hinky.) That was bad enough, but when I started to watch it on MY computer and the screen went screwy, I was starting to get worried we had an infection or something. I figured ya’ll could use a laugh. Someday I’ll laugh about it too. So not cool atm, tho.
