Wait, did you just get back to delivering the web version 2 days later than the Xbox one? How predictable.

    • Matt

They need to make money somehow, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to afford to make new episodes all the time :/

      • guest

umm… Idk about the xbox live version of the show, but I do know that the show is completely free on zune.

        • cjeam

          ….
but microsoft pay them for the exclusive

  • Carl

The main characters are acting to stupid to be belivable, the show is getting worse as all great shows do.

  • Lowris

    love this show

  • Atheldane

Hello….. Carl, Not real people, its a Web Based show and they are amazing, and these actors rock…And I am glad there are some actors that recognize the amazing story that made this show possible. You know whats great about the internet…freedom for people to be creative, you know what sucks…… people that troll around the internet trying to throw a bucket of cold water on that creativity. CODEX is my hero (And Tnkerbella is just plain HOT!). However the actors that are playing those roles are what makes the show

  • Matt

This show is amazing! I only found this show a couple of weeks ago, and I have been addicted ever since. I love how this show plays off of the stereotypes of hardcore gamers; their personalities are over exaggerated, but personally I think that’s what makes this show great. Awesome work guys, I’m looking forward to the next episode!

  • Jay G

Carl, as a victim… I’m sorry, veteran, of more SF, Comic, and gaming conventions than I readily admit to in public… these people are NOT acting too stupid to be believable. Not only do I recognize almost all of these people among my nearest and dearest friends, I also see one of them in the mirror every morning. Go to a convention Carl. After these episodes you will recognize each and every one of them. And if you go again you will even be happy to see them again and again.

  • Carl

My first comment may have been a little harsh, I just feel its all getting a bit silly, vork and bladezz are the main culprits.

And Atheldane you overeated, Im not throwing a bucket of cold water on creativity.

  • Perry

I agree – getting bored with story

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Amanda-Lucyfer-Green/1618193702 Amanda Lucyfer Green

C’Mon Tinks story is freaking awesome. AND Nathan Fillion! Must I say more?

  • Joe

Vork and Bladezz are the best!

  • Matthew Markovich

Although I had read about this web series I had no idea what it was about. Kevin Sorbo posted his episode on FB so I watched. I have never played computer games or games of any kind so I don’t get it. It was sort of cute in a Felicia Day kind of cute. Interesting seeing some of the actors besides Kevin especially Erin Gray. Maybe I’ll check a couple more out. The end credits said Eliza D. was in it but I guess I missed her.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_KPZHSYS7YL65AH5NBJ23JIPSNE DeAnna

You should really start with season 1… but, yea, a lot of the jokes are going to go over your head if you aren’t a gamer. I’ve heard that some non gamers watch it and enjoy it for the characters.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/David-Wood/711685001 David Wood

I actually really like the Bladezz storyline, because it’s… kinda true. Stuff like that happens at cons. Obviously exaggerated. But there are people who spend there time trying to court famous people. I’ve seen this more with Big Name Fans in the Harry Potter fandom, as opposed to actual famous people. But it’s the same phenomenon.

  • rose

oh my god…oh my god…i cant breathe…all the people i love the most in the whole…OMG they were all there!!!!! You’ve got the dollhouse cast, BTVS’s Andrew, Chuck…they had nathan fillon…i may actually cry xxx

  • Guest

Those silly girls WERE the hot tub babes, Bladezz has just made a really dumb mistake.

  • EmG

    So many famous people…

Loving the amazing cameos with each new episode! BVS, DH, Hercules, Rick A Fox, OMG! Keep ‘em coming! Waiting on the edge of my keyboard!

When Zaboo’s 2 goons were beating Kevin Sorbo I couldnt stop laughing, smashing his head with a door, lol.

Erin G – my personal hotness from days gone by…
Eliza D – I will never forget her dancing to Living Dead Girl on BTVS…

luv the show – luv the casting – luv Codex in her +5 sexterity…anything…

  • Mary L

Probably one of the best episodes ever because: 1. “My Humps” as a children’s lullaby = genius. I can only imagine the kinds of problems Clara’s kids are going to have as adults, lol. 2. When I’m sleep deprived I get the giggles, but Zaboo beats up Kevin Sorbo nerd mafia style! 3. Zachary Levi is awesome, Chuck FTW!

    • Unknown

I must admit, the black eyed peas lullaby was pretty clever. (Would make sense that she would not know any traditional lullaby songs) However, the whole concept of Clara behaving with any sort of maternal instinct is just another in a series of out-of-character actions we see this season.

Keep in mind, this woman has so far been portrayed as someone who distances herself from her children as much as possible, to the extent of locking them in separate rooms, dumping them off with other people, leaving them in the car “with the windows cracked”, and letting them run in public unattended. Remember at the end of season one when she is asked where her kids are after setting them loose at the restaurant, and she simply replies “oh yea! right……”

Not to mention that she has shown little to no interest in the well being of any of the male guild members up to this point.

Yet we are to believe that all of a sudden, with no real lead up or relevant arc, she magically has an on-hand repertoire of mothering techniques and skills that she lovingly and instinctively knows to use on a sleep-deprived Zaboo?

What the writers have done with the characters this season leads me to two possible conclusions:

A-They are trying to write character development but do not understand how to write character development.

B-The writers have lost touch with these characters and no longer understand them.

      • Mary L

I don’t really watch this series with that degree of critical analysis in mind, but despite Clara’s obvious laissez-faire approach to child rearing I can still believe as a human being and a mom she has her moments of depth. I think it’s unrealistic to have her so two dimensional; she mentions to Zaboo how she felt left out of the group and so she sticks to her role as mom to make her feel like she has something to contribute to the team. Plus her brand of mom instinct toward Zaboo is really not that much different than her selfish instinct to keep others from being the center of attention, lol.

I’m enjoying this season mainly because as Codex reaches new lows of self-reflective desperation, the guild finds itself in even more ridiculous situations. Self effacing comedy + eccentric characters in potentially disastrous, but hilariously uncomfortable situations is a good combination in my book.

      • Anonymous

When Codex crashes n’ burns her computer, she ends up at Clara’s, and is given a sippy cup of vodka…because Clara describes herself as a “mom at heart”. Doesn’t Clara then get the idea for the Festival Under the Sea festival? She’s behaving completely within the parameters of her character thus far. Good writing.

Overall this was a pretty bland episode. The only funny moment for me was “Tink-Zilla” stomping on the pagoda.

All the ‘famous people’ at the party were very uninteresting (maybe that was supposed to be the point, but it didn’t help the entertainment value), characters are, once again, drastically behaving out of character, and the whole “Tink’s family” sub-plot makes even less sense now (she was worried about pissing off THOSE people? They are syrupy sweet to the point of campiness and seem very loving and accepting toward her… heck, they DID adopt her after all).

Also, one problem with this season that for some reason really stuck out to me this episode is the lackluster camerawork/editing. Everything is shot flat and we get nothing but shot/reverse shot for conversations.

I realize that there are camera limitations because of the locations being filmed, but look back at seasons 2 and 3 and you will see what I’m talking about. Panning shots, clever edits (particularly when they are at their computers), use of slow mo (think the ‘sexy walk’ shot in season 2 or when they are entering the cafe in seaon 3)… basically there were a lot of creative and interesting visuals used so subtly that many people probably miss it on a conscious level, but it makes for a much much better view.

Now everything looks bland, that’s probably why people are saying it looks like a soap opera. The only interesting shots this episode were the flashback of zaboo and his energy drinks, and tink with the pagoda.

Yes, I am being critical. Just like Vork I am a fan and entitled to my opinions. Just a little disappointing that such a great series jumped the shark too soon (went downhill after season 3).

This season has a few gimmicks with the setting and all the cameos, but the driving force behind the series, the characters, have been neglected worse then Clara’s kids.

Season 3 was my fav. I still watch that season over and over again. I really liked season 4 too, though. This season it just feels like a new show altogether. Too elements changed at once and it threw things off kilter. I was really exited to see Rick Fox. I’ve been a fan of his season the 90′s when he played with the Celtics. Also was happy to see Hercules.

His smile and the way he acts reminds me of The Rock

  • Your Death

The videos won’t play for me.

  • Mel

As a long-time fan of this series, allow me to say that I believe the main issue with this season is that there are so many subplots that it’s beginning to be disorganized. In previous seasons, the characters were relatively stationary and didn’t spend several episodes at a time separated in pairs (Vork + Bladezz and Codex + Tink) or solo (Zaboo with his Seat Savers and Clara with the Steampunk people).

I suppose with a different and open location, this was to be expected, but many people seem to be complaining that this season is diluted and the character development is done poorly. I was disappointed with how abrupt the Codex and Zaboo thing ended, with no follow up to Bladezz’s epic spit take, and with the clumsy way Codex brought Tink and her family face to face.

On the other hand, there are some seriously awesome things going on. I recognized only a few of the cameos, but they were cool to see. The recurring furry in the background is both amusing and intriguing. We’re finally starting to learn Tink’s backstory. Zaboo has been given a role that is more assertive and has nothing to do with striking out with women. The other characters are facing different situations that could potentially promote real growth (Bladezz could get slammed off his high horse and learn some humility, Clara is starting to display a different maternal side now that she has to suppress her partying tendencies, and Vork actually has a shot at a relationship).

I think that the attempt was to make it seem like an authentic convention experience. I’ve never been to a con, so I have no point of reference… I would think that if I went to a con with my guild that I would spend more time with them that is being depicted by The Guild, but I have no clue. With them all being so separated, the dynamics that I personally grew to love is missing. I’ve felt things were off from episode 1, but people would jump down my throat anytime I pointed it out. So, it’s nice to know that I am not ENTIRELY crazy and that there are others out there who have noticed this. lol.

I think that with the bigger fan base and support from the industry, the show has taken a great step forward. Upping the ante with the each storyline and holding true to the way they pay tribute to the people, shows, and the nostalgia of geekdum/fandum! I love what the series is and where its going! keep up the great work guys!

    Hello,
Great series!!! Best thing i have watched in a long time. As funny and possibly more developed than “The Office”. Hope you consider that a complement.
Have spent way too many hours watching all of your content. First found it 2 days ago…maybe 3. Have watched it through to the latest episode and the music videos and specials and gag reels and acceptance speeches and… Had so many laughs. XD Now I have to wait for the next episode….
    Very creative!
Can’t believe so many “critics” out there. I wouldn’t completely ignore them, more than likely they all have equally creative and successful shows online or an unused art degree to back up there long-winded critique. At least they care (I guess O.o).

Good Luck, hope your next 4 years are just as successful. One request, another side special/video would be awesome. Kind of lets the avatar/alter ego sides of the characters run free.

  • MsDidi

Okay…Clara’s lullabies had me rolling!!!! ROFLOL…I love how Zaboo has turned into the mafia and how Codex is being so entertained about Tink-Zilla’s family life…April Lu…Tink’s mom cracks me up…it would be more awesome if she said all that stuff in a Minnesotan accent…Yaki Soba with ranch dressing and ham…ROFLOL…salisbury sushi…LOL…ugh…

Vork was hilarious, great ep been watching since the beginning and enjoy very much what you’re doing.

Nobody’s mentioned Colin Ferguson / Jack Carter. From, you know, Felicia’s *current* full-length show?

  • Lordvelen

i wanna see the game at the end of this season badly or see something involcing a con because we’ve really only saw Zaboo’s thing which slowly turned into a mob refence and oh my god stop talking

  • Ezackiel

mm Maybe the real life, hard work time of a serie, can be, from time to time, funny too. But this is not only funny parts.. As those peoples are XD !!!

Before I comment I will say that I enjoy this show and what it has done so far. That being said, this is the first episode I have not enjoyed. It seems like everyone was overacting and the guildies were forcing emotions and not being as they were in the previous seasons. I think the show is great because you have gamers playing themselves, but now it seems like they’re trying to put more into already perfect characters. The result, not funny and forced acting. Whatever advice they are getting, ditch it and start going back to the style that got you popular. Still, I love this little cult show and will continue to watch. Nothing is perfect and I think they are very entertaining all around.
